Flow cytometry instrumentation allows for more and more parameters to be interrogated on cells, requiring more sophisticated tools to explore the data. Application scientist Tim Crawfordwill will guide us through the workflow of high parameter analysis using the FlowJo analysis platform.

Timothy Quinn Crawford received his PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Washington, Seattle, studying developmental genetics, stem cell biology and cell signaling mechanisms. He then joined the UCSF Core Immunology Labs, gaining experience in HIV biology, viral immunology and cytometric data analysis. Tim spent several years as an immunology staff scientist at the Hawaii Center for AIDS evaluating the phenotype and function of T cells, NK cells and monocytes in HIV infected persons. He currently works as an Application Scientist for BD Biosciences Informatics (FlowJo), providing training seminars and assistance with single cell data analysis.
